Morgenland Festival Osnabrück sees itself as a laboratory for the music of tomorrow. Since its founding, the festival has focused on a global soundscape in transformation. Beyond rigid preconceptions, it creates a space of resonance where people come together and, through dialogue, develop a new shared language.
For the 2026 the team approached me to realize a relaunch of their site. Through fruitful collaboration with Morgenland's artstic director Shabnam Parvaresh and Designer Marlies Wieking we realized a modern Festival website with blogs, program, an interactive leaflet map and strong visual profile.
The site was based on Sanity.io CMS with remote functions for content automations and a frontend written in SvelteKit, TypeScript & TailwindCSS, no external dependencies, except for the carousel provider. It is completely static by harnessing the static site generation capabilities of SvelteKit and hosted in the EU on a managed VPS.
